Tai Chi with Alzheimer's Patients

What happens when you teach Tai Chi to people living with Alzheimer’s?

Something surprising.

Even when memory fades, the body often still remembers rhythm, breath, and gentle movement. In those moments, something beautiful appears—calm, connection, and presence.

I wrote a short essay about the experience and what these students taught me about awareness, movement, and being in the moment.

And if you’re curious about learning Tai Chi yourself, I’m beginning a 5-week foundations series beginning March 21, at sunrise (7:30am CST), 30 minutes, online.

Series: $125

Drop-in: $30
